I don't even know where to start with this wedding, because everything about it was so wonderfully perfect. 35mm film, a pub crawl, and the most insane Italian food in London, there's nothing better.

         We started this bright October day in the heart of Chelsea at the beautiful Chelsea Town House Hotel, where the bride and groom got ready together. It's rare to have a balcony room in London, let alone one that overlooks private gardens. Rather than take a large chunk of time for their couples photo session, we instead split it up into 3 mini sessions throughout the day, making the most of the city as well as the different lighting situations. The first was in this sunny and warm Chelsea garden.​

         After walking down the road to Chelsea Town Hall and a beautifully short but sweet ceremony, the couple exited to confetti thrown by their closest family and friends, many of whom had travelled all the way from New Zealand to be a part of their day.

         And what's more iconic than pub hopping your way to your wedding reception via a classic vintage bus. The couple and their friends hoped on and off to enjoy London's finest pubs, enjoying speeches and cake along the way. It was after this that we did their third and final couple session, timing it perfectly so that it hit golden hour. ​​

         The evening ended at the Italian Greyhound, one of the most spectacular Italian restaurants in London. Espresso martinis and midnight pizza is a winning combination.
